ZAMBOANGA CITY: Police captured a suspected Abu Sayyaf militant linked to the kidnapping of a Filipino farmer in Zamboanga del Norte province in southern Philippines, officials said Wednesday.
Officials reported that Anerson Tungayao was captured in the village of Arena Blanco late Tuesday afternoon, but an Abu Sayyaf subleader, Injam Yadah, managed to escape.
