TYPHOON “Quinta” (international name: “Molave”) had left 16 people dead on its wake, while the extent of the damage to agriculture and infrastructure had risen to more than P700 million nationwide, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported on Thursday.

In its situational report, the NDRRMC placed Quinta’s damage to life and property at P736 million and this extends to the regions of Ilocos, Central Luzon, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan), Bicol and Western Visayas.
