Sacks of rice being delivered to the depressed Libis community; health care workers receiving delicious meals and getting that much awaited haircut through “Balik Alindog;” and frontliners getting free temporary housing, food and other basic needs. All these are not government-sponsored “ayuda” efforts but just some of the scenes that have come out of Christ the King (CTK) Parish in Greenmeadows Quezon City for the past seven months. The spirit to help is spurring a parish community to come out of their comfort zones amid the pandemic crisis.

The chosen theme for this year's celebration, 'CTK41: Count on Christ the King,' mirrors the hope the community has anchored on its patron and emphasizes the conviction that 'life goes on' amid Covid-19 pandemic.
