A magnitude 4.9 earthquake rocked Davao Occidental before midnight on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
It said the quake occurred around 11:40 p.m. at 140 kilometers south-east of Sarangani, Davao Occidental.
