President Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday ordered the creation of an inter-agency task force that would simplify the government’s response and rehabilitation efforts in areas affected by recent typhoons.

In a public address, Duterte assured that his administration was working tirelessly as more people and provinces were reeling from the impact of Typhoon “Ulysses” (international name: “Vamco”), the latest storm to hit the country in the last four weeks.
