Another win, another day in the office for WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford.
Crawford recently chalked up his fourth successful defense of the 147-pound title with a four-round dismantling of British challenger Kell Brook. After a proverbial slow start, Crawford sent Brook reeling to the ropes in the fourth stanza with a hard right hook. Brook got a reprieve when referee Tony Weeks stepped in and ruled a knockdown (only the ropes prevented Brook from going down). But the moment the action resumed, Crawford peppered the hapless challenger with an assortment of punches to force a stoppage.
