INTERIOR Secretary Eduardo Año ordered a crackdown against illegal logging and mining in the aftermath of the onslaught caused by typhoon "Ulysses" (international name: Vamco), the department's spokesman said on Saturday.
DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said that the order, which was discussed in a meeting by the management committee of the DILG, was particular to areas heavily affected by the recent typhoons.
