THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) released a total of P1.5 billion to local government units (LGUs) heavily affected by the recent typhoons, its spokesman announced on Saturday.
According to Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya, the funds from the Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) and Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) for financial assistance to LGUs were released by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
