Apart from K-Pop playing a big role in hallyu — the Korean wave or the growing popularity of South Korean culture — K-Dramas are also at the top of the list. More Filipinos turned to K-Dramas this year both for comfort and gripping stories, which proves that entertainment transcends language and cultural boundaries — especially during these uncertain times.
