SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Region 1 late last week announced that it has converted two government buildings into isolation facilities for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in Burgos and Sta. Barbara towns in Pangasinan province and a halfway house also in Burgos.
The centers and the shelter were inaugurated recently by Pangasinan Gov. Amado Espino 3rd, accompanied by Regional Director Eugene Cabrera of the Office of the Civil Defense and other government officials, according to DPWH Regional Director Ronnel Tan.
