CALAPAN CITY, Mindoro Oriental: A fire of still unknown origin gutted the first floor of the Puerto Galera municipal public market on Monday night, the chief of staff of the office of the mayor said on Tuesday.
In a phone interview, Carmela Leviste-Datinguinoo also said the fire at the public market started around 8:40 p.m. and they received a call from a market occupant around 9 p.m.
