My top reason for watching “The Crown’s” fourth the season is the acting. It’s so hard to decide who is the season’s cast MVP. Oscar winner Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth is reliably great; Tobias Menzies’ Prince Philip ranks right up there with his best work. I am reminded why I love Helena Bonham Carter — she can break your heart as Princess Margaret. And there’s 30-year-old award winning actor Josh O’Connor who just kills it as Prince Charles. I look forward to seeing him in more projects after “The Crown.”
Gillian Anderson is absolutely fantastic as Margaret Thatcher.
