RAMON, Isabela: Renewable energy company SN Aboitiz Power (SNAP) said it owns the Magat Power Plant, but not the Magat Dam, clarifying social media posts and news stories erroneously identifying SNAP as the owner or operator of the dam.
In a statement, SNAP said it operates the Magat Hydroelectric Power Plant on the border of Isabela and Ifugao, but not Magat Dam, which is owned by the government through the National Irrigation Administration (NIA).
