THE Barangay Ginebra Gins Kings shook off a fourth quarter scare to dominate the TNT Tropang Giga in overtime, 100-94, in Game 1 of the best-of- seven PBA Philippine Cup Finals on Sunday night at the Angeles University Foundation (AUF) Sports and Cultural Center in Angeles, Pampanga.
Led by court general LA Tenorio, big man Japeth Aguilar and deadly-scorer Stanley Pringle Jr., Ginebra played like a well-oiled machine in the extra five minutes of play.
