SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go has urged the government to intensify its crackdown against illegal logging, adding that protecting the environment could go a long way in reducing the impact of natural disasters.
Go said the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has ordered a clampdown on illegal logging and mining in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
