The reelection of Cavite 8th District Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino as Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President would sustain sports development in the country, Taguig-Pateros 1st District Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano said on Saturday.
“His (Tolentino’s) reelection signifies the vote of confidence of the leaders of the national sport associations to a more progressive and responsive leader,” Cayetano said after Tolentino was voted to lead the POC in elections held in Parañaque City last Friday.
