The country's manufacturing sector continued to shrink in November, but at a pace slower than October’s as operating conditions “neared stabilization” and production levels rose for the first time since June, according to an IHS Markit survey.

The poll results showed that the Philippines’ seasonally adjusted Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) rose to 49.9 in November from 48.5 in October, signaling what IHS Markit described as a "movement toward stability."
