BACOLOD CITY: The town of Valencia in Negros Oriental is under lockdown from December 2 to 15 as part of the local government unit’s efforts of curb the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
Mayor Edgar Teves, in Executive Order 47, said during the previous lockdown period, there was a temporary suspension of public activities, including village assemblies, outdoor dining, drinking of any alcoholic beverages in public places and retailing such as the Sibaan sa Valencia and Paunay Market.
