ANOTHER contemporary, pious risible Fr. Columbano Adag, is gone to his eternal reward. He was an AB classmate at San Beda in the late 1950s. He just passed on in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, in the awesome Benedictine monastery there.

It used to be said that we are the country with the longest holiday season in the world. Christmas carols by September. So, the so-called welcome ‘Ber months — September, October, November and December — leading us to the climax this month of the best and the finest the season of grace and goodwill and the coming year can bring anyone. But, sadly, not in 2020.
