THE Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has allowed the conduct of workshops, consumer trade shows and board meetings at 30 percent capacity of the venue in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ), spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said on Friday.

Roque said this was agreed upon by the IATF-EID during its meeting on Thursday.

The task force also allowed trainings, seminars, congresses, conferences, colloquia, conclaves and symposia in restaurants and venues within hotel premises such as function halls and restaurants; and mall atria, according to Roque.

The IATF-EID directed the Department of Tourism and the Department of Trade and Industry to jointly issue the necessary guidelines for the implementation of the order.
