The country’s inflation rate rose to a 21-month high of 3.3 percent in November as prices of food and nonalcoholic drinks went up, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Friday.

The figure was higher than October’s 2.5 percent and a year ago’s 1.3 percent. It also breached the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) 2.4- to 3.2-percent estimate.
