THE ruling political party, Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Laban ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), has appointed two leaders of the House of Representatives as its new officers.

Last Wednesday, Speaker Lord Allan Velasco was also elected as the party’s executive vice president.

PDP Laban, with President Rodrigo Duterte as chairman, has a membership of 5 senators, 59 congressmen, 43 governors, 34 vice governors, 257 board members, 608 mayors, 541 vice mayors, 4,081 councilors, and more than 100,000 grassroots community leaders.
