THE Department of Health (DoH) has warned the public to not use virgin coconut oil (VCO) to self-medicate against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) as it still needs further study.
The warning comes after the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) released the results of its VCO trial among suspected and probable Covid-19 patients in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
