SEN. Ana Theresia Hontiveros on Monday expressed concern on the entry of new telecom players, saying that it comes at a time when the Philippines is not ready to stop cyber attacks.
She warned that ChinaTel, which partly owns Dito Telecommunity Corporation (Dito Telecoms), the country's third telco player, is a "proxy" of the Chinese government.
