Who would have thought that the holiday season this year of the pandemic would be just as busy as before? Not me, but no complaints here. There’s no harrowing traffic to contend with, after all, unlike past Decembers. Since the first of the month caught us by surprise, I’ve found myself breezily hopping from Zoom to Zoom, meeting and catching up with some pretty amazing folks who are seizing the moment despite its challenges.
The last few days took me up close — albeit virtually — with five men in particular who’ve been determined from the start to make the most of what many others have relegated as the “year of forced downtime,” given the Covid situation. They’ve been productive, progressive and trailblazing, willing 2020 to count all the same.
