THE Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) is expanding the coverage of the retail competition and open access (RCOA), a scheme that allows electricity end-users to choose their power supplier.
In a statement on Monday, the regulatory agency said the latest move aims “to promote competition and ensure the successful restructuring and modernization of the electric power industry.”
