The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) said placing Metro Manila and neighboring areas under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) again could cost about P2.1 billion in wages a day.
In a statement on Wednesday, NEDA said every day of the present general community quarantine (GCQ) costs the National Capital Region (NCR) and its environs around P700 million in wages.
