CAMP GEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Sta Cruz, Laguna: Police Provincial Office (PPO) has seized over P300,000 worth of illegal firecrackers as part of its ongoing "Ligtas Paskuhan 2020" operations.
PCol. Seragin Petalio 2nd, PPO director, cited the implementation of Executive Order (EO) 28, which provides for the Regulation and Control of the Use of Firecrackers and Other Pyrotechnic Devices, in relation to Republic Act 7183 or An Act Regulating the Sale, Manufacture, Distribution, and Use of Firecrackers and Other Pyrotechnic Devices in the province.
