President Rodrigo Duterte has stopped the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) from increasing members’ contributions.
“There is a move to increase the contribution of members. May I suggest to PhilHealth Chairman Dante Gierran… 'Wag muna ngayon (not now), no increase in the contributions, I will look for money to fill it up,” Duterte said during his public address on Monday night.
