The Philippines logged 2,052 new Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases on Monday, breaching the 2,000 level for the first time since November 29, when it reported 2,076 cases.
The country now has a total of 489,736 Covid cases, 22,114 of which are active.
