MONEY sent home by overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) declined by 0.9 percent in the first 11 months of 2020, according to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Benjamin Diokno.
In a virtual briefing on Thursday, Diokno announced that personal remittances — personal transfers in cash or kind and capital transfers between households — dropped to $29.98 billion in January-November 2020 from $30.25 billion during the same period in 2019.
