After weeks of toxicity, which include avoiding preseason practices, ducking league-wide Covid protocols and making statements detrimental to the Houston Rockets, three-time scoring champion and former MVP James Harden finally got his wish.
The Brooklyn Nets pulled the trigger, acquiring the disgruntled superstar in a four-team trade. The price for Harden: Caris LeVert, Jarret Allen, Taurean Prince, three first round draft picks in 2022, 2024 and 2026, and four unprotected first-round swaps in 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2027. The Nets really broke the bank on this trade and probably their future.
