Listed Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) is bullish about increasing its small and medium enterprise (SME) clients after introducing its newest digital platform on Tuesday.
During the launch of the Aboitiz-led lender’s SME banking app, Union Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Edwin Bautista said the bank aimed to acquire 1 million SME customers within half a decade, calling the figure “a moonshot number.”
