PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has instructed vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. not to snub Senate hearings on the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination but to "walk out" if the lawmakers become "verbally abusive", Malacañang spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said.
In an interview with CNN Philippines on Wednesday, Roque said Galvez has asked the President if he can skip Senate hearings because he had lost two weeks worth of negotiations with vaccine manufacturers.
