Government agencies’ utilization of last year’s national budget was slower than that of the 2019 outlay, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) reported on Wednesday.

Department data showed that agencies used P3.64 trillion of the P3.85 trillion released under the Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) from January to December. This translated to a utilization ratio of 95 percent, slower than 97 percent in 2019.
