SEN. Pilar Juliana “Pia” Cayetano, chairman of the Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Innovation and Futures Thinking, filed a bill that seeks to provide "vaccine passports" for all Filipinos.

Cayetano said Senate Bill (SB) 1999 or the "Vaccine Passport Program Act" would put on record who has been inoculated with which kind of vaccine, when and how many doses were administered, and other matters related to the government’s intensive vaccination plan against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
