THE Philippines will receive its supply of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines by the first quarter of this year as its participation in the Covax (Coronavirus Vaccine) Facility has been confirmed.

The facility, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) alongside the European Commission and France and coordinated by Gavi Vaccine Alliance and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, aims to provide countries equitable access to vaccines regardless of income levels.
