The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Friday welcomed the recent signing of the amended implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of the Agri-Agra law, saying it would help the country’s agriculture recover from the Covid-19 pandemic’s impact.
In a statement, Agriculture Secretary William Dar said the revised rules of the law — formally known as Republic Act 10000, or the “Agri-Agra Reform Credit Act of 2009” — would make agriculture and agrarian reform credit more available, and help boost productivity and farmers’ incomes.
