The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on Friday welcomed the government’s decision to further ease age restrictions in areas under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), saying this would increase enterprises’ revenues, particularly in the retail sector.

In a radio interview, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez cited results of surveys among businesses in saying their revenues could double or triple if more segments of the population can go outside.
