DAVAO CITY: A total of 822 barangay (villages) across the country will each be granted P20 million in projects and activities through the Barangay Development Program (BDP).
These villages, which are vulnerable to the threat and influence of the communist New People’s Army (NPA), were previously identified as Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (Gidas).
