THE Social Security System (SSS) will incur a P14.9-billion deficit in 2021 if the rate of contributions of its members is not increased, its President Aurora Ignacio said on Tuesday.

Ignacio made the statement as the Senate government corporation and public enterprises committee approved a bill authorizing President Rodrigo Duterte to defer or suspend the scheduled increase in SSS contribution rate this January.
