Doctor who falsified swab results charged

The head of a medical and diagnostic clinic in Bulacan filed criminal and administrative complaints against a doctor who allegedly falsified hundreds of swab test results using the name of the former’s molecular laboratory.

Dr. Alma Radovan-Onia, medical director of the Marilao Medical and Diagnostic Clinic Inc. (MMDCI), prodded the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to act on her administrative complaint against Dr. Jovith Royales, manager and chief executive officer of Best Care Medical and Diagnostic Clinic in Barangay Karuhatan, Valenzuela City, to have his license revoked.
