THE Department of Health(DoH) isn't keen on shifting to a more relaxed modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) in Metro Manila in February until it can be determined that the new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) variant can be contained.
This comes as President Rodrigo Duterte is set to announce new quarantine restrictions and his economic team has proposed putting the metropolis under MGCQ.
