Palace downplays need for Bayanihan 3

Malacañang on Monday downplayed the need for another legislative measure to provide more funding for the government’s coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) response package.

The Palace was reacting to the introduction of a bill proposed by House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco that allocates P420 billion for a third instalment of the Bayanihan law to address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
