A FILIPINO American businessman in Los Angeles, California has pledged to donate $20,000 (P1 million) to the 35 runaway Filipino maids, who are stranded at the Philippine Embassy in Damascus, Syria.
Niño Jefferson Lim said he would be sending this columnist the amount to be divided equally among the 35 women when they get back to Manila.
