The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said remittance inflows in some countries in Asia continued to be strong in the latter part of 2020 despite the pandemic.
Citing data, the blog written by Aiko Kikkawa Takenaka, Kijin Kim and Raymond Gaspar noted that remittance receipts in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Samoa, Georgia, Fiji, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and Azerbaijan grew in the latter part of the year.
