ELEMENTS of the Manila International Container Port-Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (MICP-CIIS) have seized some P15 million worth of smuggled goods following a raid at a storage facility in Paco, Manila.
Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence Group Raniel Ramiro said on Thursday that the recent anti-smuggling operation was the third to be conducted by the CIIS team, in coordination with elements of the Enforcement and Security Service (ESS) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), in a span of one month, bringing to P75 million the total worth of apprehended contraband in three separate warehouses.
