Money sent home by overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) fell in December, pulling down the year-to-date amount.

Data released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) on Monday showed that personal remittances — personal transfers in cash or kind and capital transfers between households — from abroad reached $3.20 billion in December, a decline from the $3.21 billion in the same month in 2019.
