A company led by magnate Enrique Razon Jr. is acquiring more shares in Manila Water Co. Inc. worth more than P4.8 billion, the latter’s parent Ayala Corp. announced on Tuesday.
In a disclosure, the conglomerate said its unit Philwater Holdings Co. Inc. sold 2,691,268,205 of its preferred shares in Manila Water to Razon-led Trident Water Co.
