ABS-CBN Events and IME jointly announced that “Freedom: Regine Velasquez-Alcasid Digital Concert” has been rescheduled to February 28.

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid had to postpone her February 14 show after being exposed to a
Covid-positive patient

“Regine tested negative for Covid-19 and will soon resume preparations for the show,” the statement read.

Originally scheduled to be held on February 14, the digital concert was postponed after Velasquez was exposed to someone who tested positive for the coronavirus. The country’s “Asia’s Songbird” immediately underwent quarantine.

In a tweet on February 10, the singer informed her fans that she was okay and that she had been crying over the postponement.

“Sayang yung date natin no. I was sooooo looking forward to it pa naman. But don’t worry I’m ok. Maga lang face ko coz I’ve been crying. But like I said GOD has a plan and His plans are always better. Stay safe guys,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, tickets for the original date will be honored for the new concert schedule.

“Tickets are still up for grabs on KTX (ktx.ph). Exclusive access is also available on iWantTFC and TFC IPTV Pay-Per-View and will also be available on SKY Pay-Per-View for those who would like to witness this grand musical event,” the joint statement ended.
